Wow, Nice Start

If there was ever a team or a coach that needed a little quick success in the preseason it is JZ and the Skins.  And wow!  Recovery of an onside kick, two first downs and a TD to Randle El!  Nice start.  We’ll talk more about the team and the game as it goes, but it was nice to see the offense come out crisp.

And as I type this, Shawn Springs just stuffed Joseph Addai.  Like I said, it is the preseason but a little momentum never hurt anyone. Wow, next play and 7 white shirts swarmed to the ball after Smoot missed a tackle on a swing pass.  I swear I’m not going to live blog the whole night, but we just gave up a cheap first down.  Hopefully, this won’t kill too much momentum.  Anyway, great start. Hail Skins!

[Quick Update- Skins did give up a FG on the drive as Sorgi dinked and dunked his way down the field.  A sack and a near INT from Smoot were defensive highlights.  I think this is a pretty decent showing given that only 4 of the actual starters we in the game.]
