A Hero’s Reward; Green and Monk to be Enshrined

Posted by: guyskins

It’s great to be a Redskins fan this weekend.  In case you’ve been living in a cave, Darryl Green and Art Monk are getting enshrined together this weekend.  I was close to road tripping to Canton myself but things didn’t quite pan out so I shall have to settle on the television like most of you.

In the days to come, we’ll have more on this event.  Until then, we’ll give you some reading material to tide you over while we wait.  Here’s a sneak peek at Art Monk’s speech, courtesy of KSK.

Hail Skins!!!

Even though Darryl Green played for the wrong team ;-) you really have to admire him. This guy broke all the rules on what a cornerback should look like. Wasn’t he like 5-9″? And then he played years after most retired. If a college player gets told he cannot do something, then here is a guy that tells him he can. On top of it he was a class guy off the field as well. Dallas should have traded for him

He really was something special. If only we could figure out a way to clone him. :)
