Thanks, Bears Fan! While I respectfully disagree with your death penalty position, your support for the Redskins family and Sean Taylor's family is appreciated. Not to mention that you're reading the Rag. Come back for more football news (with hopefully less political implications) all summer.

I do support the Death Penalty! But this act while incredibly stupid and tragic was done by a minor. That in addition to the shot being to the leg, just an unlucky location to hit an artery, would keep these kids off Death Row. Had the shots been to the head or chest or some vital part of the body, I would have said forget their age and try them as adults. Criminals need to be taught a lesson too many good people are paying too high a price for the criminal actions of others. The Far East countries overseas don't have crime like we do. They make sure they punish criminals when caught. We need to put the fear of God into these individuals and groups.

Part of me wants to tear them apart, but I guess as long as they go to prison for a long loooong time, that will have to be enough. If Taylor's family accepts it, who am I to argue?

[...] Riggo’s Rag | A Blog For Washington Redskins Fans wrote an interesting post today on Sean Taylor Trial NewsHere’s a quick excerptSean Taylor Trial News According to ESPN and other sources, the prosecutor has taken the death penalty off the table in the Sean Taylor case. Depending on who you believe, this was either because the shooter was 17 or because they couldn’t proove premediated murder. I’m more inclined to believe the latter given that many states seem to be killing kids under 18 these days. Regardless of how you feel about the death penalty (and for the record, I oppose it), this seems fair enough to me. They [...]
