Looking closely at the pics of Romo and Jess, he is wearing a t-shirt while the guy in the pic with Jess has a button up on. I conclude that that is not Romo. Yet he was still there though.

I love the name Hershel, but I don't know if I can agree with you.  I'd like to think that someone clever enough to make up a name like that could come up with something better than "gay."  Okay, so Richard Simmons Gay and McGreevy Gay is brings up some good imagery, but LandryHat is such an easy target that I KNOW we can do better. 

Don't wallow in the shallow end of the kiddy pool with Landry Hat and his Caps-lock-using crony Lance (we still love you Lance!).   Don't stoop to his level of "If I substitute 'Redskins' with 'Crapskins' I am being witty and clever" moronic humor.  Instead, let us mock at a higher than third grade reading level. 

Let's point out how Dallas fans generally complimented my post on Tony Romo while they railed against Dan's post for going too far. Let's point out how he completely and utterly failed to answer my challenge when I dared him to try to post something clever and funny.  Let's point out how he was humiliated when he lost a bet to me and was forced to write me and the entire Redskins organization an apology on his Dallas Cowboys blog. 

 Dan's got many things to be ashamed of.  I'm just not sure "Gay" is one of them.  Homophobic? Yes.  Biased? Sure.  Unreasonble and surly? Hell yeah! Gay? It's hard to say.

The one thing we do know is that the LandryHat and his pisspoor blog are G-A-Y.  Richard Simmons gay.  McGreevy gay.  Really, really, really...gay.

Oh please. Don't get so indignant. Except for the initial post from John, the discussion and banter between fans has been largely intelligent and fun.  I would think that most Cowboys fans with a sense of humor would enjoy reading the KSK and BANG skits as much as I did. 

Stop getting so pissy that I chose a provocative title. Get a sense of humor and an ounce of common sense and get in on the debate rather than trying to tear it down. 

I'm glad I could bring you so much traffic from my readers, my Dallas Cowboys friends. ENjoy your boost in visitors, pal. You know what works now: Write crap about the Dallas Cowboys and the minority of the world, which is still a large fraction of the population, will come running here to join in on your rabid attacks. We've made two playoff appearances in twelve years, which is indeed a pathetic drought.  See? That's not so hard.  I have no problem with people talking smack or giving me heat.  I only ask that the comments be marginally clever and appropriate.  Saying that winning a superbowl is easy is foolish bravado and hot air.  Pointing out that we haven't won our division in nearly ten years is much more likely to make me curl into the fetal position and dream of the glorious 80's now that our fantasy of Joe Gibbs returning us to glory is officially dead.  Okay, I think I'm going to go to my room and cry too...

DaveDallas, you're not wrong.  I still have feverish nightmares about the 90's when you guys were the dominant power for so long.  The Cowboys are one of the most dominant and powerful franchises in the history of the NFL;  that's why you make such good enemies!  The Eagles have never won the superbowl (HA HA!) and the Giants just don't scare me very much, despite their recent Cindarella story.  No, you are a much more fearsome opponent.  You've got a talented young QB and a talented team around him and you're in a prime position to win it all.

I still think the odds are against you just because it's so damn hard for ANY team to win it all (last year's Pats are exhibit A).  I'd be lying if I didn't fear a Cowboys #6, but you have to admit that your team has a looong, hard road ahead of them before your words become anything more than hot air.

LOL But I have to admit, as much as I am glad Romo is our QB, he may not be making the best choices publicity wise. He needs to talk to Troy about handling that aspect of being a celeb. to-shay, redskinsguy about the lowly cards beating us, but i still think we will be the first team to win #6. it would be fitting to go in against pitt this year and beat them for the 6th. then we'd avenge the 2 that they took, or stole from us in the late 70's. please don't come back at me for saying stole now, because #10 had the last play of the game, a dropped pass in the endzone, and #13 had a dropped jackie smith TD. so, we were 2 plays away from winning both. and if you figure in a last second field goal against balt. in #4, hell, we'd have 8 rings!!!!!!! not bad ther redskins guy, HUH????

I did indeed write it, but I meant it to be more tongue in cheek and silly rather than something to be taken seriously. I apologise if you think it's not up to my usual quality. Mostly I saw a bunch of humorous posts that I wanted to share and thought this would be more interesting than "Hey, go look at these links."  Don't take it too seriously guys.  If it was a cheap shot...well then it was a cheap shot; take it like a man and I'll take the heat for being willing to give a cheap shot now and then.

Also, as you pointed out, Romo is asking for trouble when he's messily licking blue icing off his girlfriend (and vice virsa).  I think Jessica Simpson is likely using him for publicity at the expense of his own reputation.  Doing this gets HER featured on People Magazine and gets HIM taken less seriously as a professional athlete. 

I've said before and I'll say again that Tony Romo is a great asset on the field.  If he has a kinky girlfriend who likes to do silly things in public, then good for him. But he has to expect people to mention it now and then, and he (or whoever it is that Jessica is smearing cake all over) really does have a bizarre expression on his face in that picture.  And I find the symbolic nature of Jessica devouring the Cowboys Star to be rather entertaining.  She's trying to destroy you guys! It's official! :)

Romo in some ways is setting himself up for trouble. As a football star you are also a celebrity. Dating another celebrity makes you ripe for media gossip. I do not think it will happen as I do not see many holes for Dallas. The chink in the armor is backup WR, but I suspect a reliable vet will be dropped from a roster before the season. But if Romo fails at playoff time, a lot of questions, whether fair or not, will come up about his total dedication  to being the QB.  Work before pleasure as the cliche goes. I can tell it is not Redskins Guy who wrote this blog article. the childlike and sillyness of the way it is written is not his style. Peace

DaveDallasFan, when the cowboys win #6, I doubt you'll be able to lift much of anything up because you'll be too old and feeble by the time JJ gets his head out of his butt. If I'm wrong, I'll invite you to come here and make me eat my words.  Until then, it's just big talk for a team that hasn't won a playoff game in twelve years (and also happens to be the only team EVER who lost a playoff game to the lowly Arizona Cardinals).

I noticed that the shirt was different. I just don't know who else would be smeared with cake that badly. The cake was a small one so I don't think they were sharing, and all the descriptions of the event seem to corroborate that.  The physical copy of People Magazine had that very picture on page 2 (the index) with a caption that read Jessica Simpson feeds Tony Romo cake (or something to that effect).  I found it peculiar because it didn't look like him.  It's possible they got it wrong, but I find it equally likely that he was given a shirt for a birthday present and put it on during the party. Ultimately, I just don't see any evidence that anyone other than Tony and Jessica ate cake with their hands, and I see several references saying that this is Tony and Jessica. Until I see evidence to the contrary, I think it's just a bad picture of Tony looking goofy and possibly drunk.

Actually, Guy, I think you and D magazine made an honest mistake.  The second link there shows seven pictures.  6 of them are Romo.  The one you happened to use in the article is someone else.  You can tell if you look at all of them.  Romo is wearing a hat and white t-shirt in 6 of the pictures.  The one you posted shows a guy wearing a button down shirt and no hat and he just doesn't look like Romo. There are plenty of equally funny pictures of Romo and Simpson, but I don't think that picture happens to be him.

I don't blame you for missing it.  It was their mistake first.

Yet another loser blog by a fan of a loser team that has no chance - and exists solely to take shots at a rival that he knows is superior....sad...

Another site here claims that it is again a pic of Tony Romo. So does CelebGlitz and a host of others.  They all seem to have acquired the pics from D Magazine (whatever that is, see link in previous post).  Given that it's a celebrity photo shoot, I'm willing to conceed that they could have gotten the pic wrong, but in some ways that's worse for poor ol' Tony.

Why is it worse? Because it means that Tony Romo is so hen-pecked that he'll meekly sit by while his girlfriend hand feeds cake to another man and licks icing off his face in a suggestive manner. Maybe Tony Romo is the real "Faggot" that John was referring to, because I don't see a heterosexual guy putting up with that sort of public behavior from his wife and another guy.

So instead, I choose to believe that they got it right and that the difference in appearance is due to a funny camera angle,  sheer terror, alcohol, and blue icing.

I agree that it does not look like Tony Romo. However, a recent episode of People Magazine claims that it is. You can see the issue online here. It sites D Magazine, which took the shoot and claims here that it is a pic of Tony Romo.

Love them Cowboys fans! You ever notice that the closer to the truth you get with Cowboys fans, the louder they get?  It is the desperation of knowing that this is a team just good enough to win, but not good enough to get over the top.

Though on a serious note, that isn't Tony Romo in the picture.  I'm no sure if that makes it worse or better though.
