Cardinals join Bengals in Shooting Down Redskins

Posted by: guyskins

ESPN is reporting on their nightly radio program that the Arizona Cardinals have rejected a trade offer from the Washington Redskins that would send talented wide receiver Anquan Boldin to the Redskins for an undisclosed number of draft picks (presumably including at least one 1st round pick).   This is the second time that the Redskins have made an attempt to throw draft picks and money to acquire an established wide receiver, and the second time they’ve been denied.  The report has yet to surface on the ESPN web site but I’ll add a link when it becomes available…

As of now, the Landry Hat has no article written on this subject, but I’m sure that won’t stop him from whining about us in the comments section.  Therefore, I’ll just preempt his desperate attempt for attention and mention that you can read his site here.  I hope you like bile with your heavily skewed news.   Make sure to give him a cookie.

UPDATE: ESPN now has some of the details on their web site. The link is here.

For once you guys cant even buy a player. Looks like you might actually have to use your draft picks.

look out skinboys the cowboys might get that deal done under your noses. maybe the reason the arizona brain trust turned you guys away is they may already have a deal on the table with us. jerry has seemed to be hinting of a deal with a vet wr. i don’t think it’ll be chad as everyone says. i see roy willaims (det) inside chance or boldin, becuse his contract could be the best fit for dallas. he also seems the best fit for the role of a #2 wr over that of the ego-chad boy, or the detroit roy. both of those guys are #1 wrs that are seemingly being replaced on their teams with the new kid on the block

you guys of all teams should understand that. you can buy all the freeagents you want, but it still comes down to team chemistry to make it work

I’m not thrilled that we’re trying to throw away our whole draft. I wouldn’t mind getting Boldin, or even Johnson, but the price tag seems a bit hefty to me.

Man this site is like the boys and skins rivalry, We run it!!And don’t start with the 4 out of last 6 games stuff becasue we can play that game except our numbers are alot better.

Recent history is the ONLY statistic that matters.  How relevant is a bunch of games won against Norv Turner, Steve Spurrier, and a bunch of players who aren’t even Redskins anymore? Stop living in the past.

  9. 9. Redskins Guy Says:

Well 63% of the people who visited this site and voted in the poll think that the Cowboys are evil. So I guess it really IS like Landry Hat’s site.
