I have liked either Cromartie or K Phillips over DE or WR at the 21st spot. Cromartie makes even more sense due to CB issues with the Redskins. Part of the reasoning here is that good quality WR, DE or DT can be found in 2nd round. I still think there is a strong possibility of trading down in first round for a later pick, if a couple of the players the Redskins have at top of their list are still available and another team has a player that have to have and could pick up at #21.It is going to be the trend in the middle of this draft (a run on certain positions) that will dictate what the Redskins will, or will not, do.

Decent board. But I don't think there is any conceivable way that Jake Long drops to No. 4. If he's not No. 1 overall both the Rams and Falcons have serious needs along the offensive line. It's been a while since you've updated. You have any new thoughts on what you think might shake out? Here is my most recent version: http://www.docsports.com/current/nfl-mock-draft.html

ROCK CARTWRIGHT Resigned with us! Woo Hoo! Good Ol' Rock's coming back for another year. It might not seem to be a big deal to outsiders, but I think it's a positive step in the right direction. We always seem to let go the true, loyal redskins rank and file and Rock has been a stable presence and a good leader for us for some time. And how can you not like a football player who's name is Rock?

There is no more room for a DE in Philadelphia. They signed Chris Clemons.

If the draft really goes down that way I would agree with the pick. Vinny has already said he felt the edges of our DL were fine so a dont see them picking a DE. Rodgers-Cromartie would be the best talent available at the point and thats how the Skins draft. Best talent on the board.

Connor's a good ILB...but SF already has Brandon Moore and just signed Dontarrious Thomas from the Vikes. If they took a LB here, it'd be someone like Quenton Groves for his pass rushing skills. Instead, I'll be surprised it isn't the top WR on the board...someone like Hardy, Sweed or Devin Thomas.
