Comments on: 2008 NFL Mock Draft, v 2

I have liked either Cromartie or K Phillips over DE or WR at the 21st spot. Cromartie makes even more sense due to CB issues with the Redskins. Part of the reasoning here is that good quality WR, DE or DT can be found in 2nd round. I still think there is a strong possibility of trading down in first round for a later pick, if a couple of the players the Redskins have at top of their list are still available and another team has a player that have to have and could pick up at #21.It is going to be the trend in the middle of this draft (a run on certain positions) that will dictate what the Redskins will, or will not, do.

Decent board. But I don’t think there is any conceivable way that Jake Long drops to No. 4. If he’s not No. 1 overall both the Rams and Falcons have serious needs along the offensive line.
