Suspects Held for Questioning in Taylor Shooting

According to the Miami Herald, three men are in custody for questioning regarding the Sean Taylor shooting.  Also according to the article, this may have been the result of someone bragging in public about how wealthy Taylor was and telling people where he lived.

Now, frankly, this is all a matter of public record so unless the kid said, “oh, and by the way, they don’t have any security and Sean got rid of his guns and only has a machete, and by the way, he’ll be home this weekend” whoever this was didn’t really do anything wrong.  But geeze, he probably will need years of therapy to forgive himself.

Too early to tell how this is going to go down, but frankly, I’m hoping for an arrest to be announced right about game time on Sunday.  If you think Fed Ex is loud already, imagine that sound.

He didn’t do anything wrong from a legal perspective perhaps, but he was dumb to brag about that sort of thing. I’d say it was a foolish mistake and in that sense it was wrong, on the level of leaving your car with the ignition running or leaving your purse unattended on the park bench for a minute while you go to the bathroom.  Not CRIMINAL, but also not very smart.
