I hate those guys who second guess decisions after they already know whether a game is a win or a loss. So I’m taking the time to say it now– win or lose, the decision to go for it on fourth and 1 in Bucs territory was stupid.
We needed 10 pts to take the lead anyway. A field goal makes it a one score game. Not to mention that there is actually plenty of time to score two field goals and tie it up that way. Dumb, dumb, dumb. We’ve been moving the ball through the air but not running especially well. Why do this?
I still think we are going to win this game if we don’t turn the ball over again, but that just adds to the list of poor decisions we’ve seen today.

Ahh I don’t hate the going for it since we can pin them if we don’t get it, but I don’t really like the play call at that point.As to the turn the ball over again matter, you could not have been more right…
November 25th, 2007 at 6:31 pmI’m with Splash. I didn’t mind going for it but the play call was suspect. Our running game was not working well and we were without Sellers. Running up the gut like that near the goal line when they’re expecting it was asking for trouble.
