Week 6 Preview

Bring on the Pack!  Bring on the cold rain they’re calling for.  Bring on the ghosts of Lambeau.  Bring on the tapes of Vince Lombardi coaching both teams.  Bring on the endless praise and excuses for Brett Favre.  Bring it all on, because we’re going to win today.  We’re going to force 5 turn overs, and we’re going to play controlled, efficient, professional offense and beat this team.

I’m not in the mood to break down matchups this week.  I’m in the mood to establish the Redskins as the team to beat in the NFC today.  I’m in the mood to watch the Cowboys lose.  I’m in the mood to hear stories all week about Jason Campbell and the resurgent defense.  I’m in the mood to remind people that this is an elite franchise and Joe Gibbs is a legendary coach.

So here is my breakdown in the simplest terms possible. On defense, Laron Landry and Rocky McIntosh will both have INTs.  The Packers will be held to under 50 yards rushing.  We will force Brett Favre to throw to win the game.  He won’t be able to do it well enough to win.

On offense, we will pound the ball with Betts stepping up today with some straight line, power running.  Moss and Randle-El will play.  Campbell will throw one deep one for a TD and mix in Chris Cooley for a big day.  We will score nearly at will like last week.

We will win 34-17.

And we will have a great week watching NFL Live this week.
