Redskins Fans the Richest, Green Bay Fans Most Fertile
In a fun survey conducted by Scarborough Sports Marketing as reported by Yahoo here the Redskins lead the NFL in many different categories including richest fans.
All the categories we lead the NFL in are as follows:
– Fans who are college graduates: 20 percent.
– Fans who are African-American: 12.8 percent.
– Fans who earn over $75,000: 30.7 percent.
– Fans who earn over $100,000: 21.4 percent.
That would explain how Dan Snyder can charge more for parking than Arizona charges for some tickets to see the game. It also explains why the Skins fans are the smartest in the world.
The most entertaining fact might be that Green Bay leads the league in fans with children at 25.8 %. That might also explain why they have the most fans aged 18-24 since they are pumping out so many puppies.
The article itself focuses on how the Steelers have the most female fans. The Redskins were in the top ten but there was a noticeable gap. Of course, the survey showed nearly 30% of Steelers fans were women, but doesn’t actually say anything about raw numbers. Any lady Redskins fans reading this, I encourage you to comment here and let your voice be known. I think there are a lot of you, and you don’t need to wear freakin’ pink jerseys to show it!
