Forgive the lack of posts. There just simply hasn’t been much to talk about. The NFL is taking one big deep breath before training camps and rookie contracts. But to keep you all interested and to get you excited, I found a very interesting link. Believe it or not its from the Arizona Cardinal’s official website.
My younger readers may think the Cardinals are a newish team. I know they may look like an expansive franchise, but trust me young ones when I say that the Cardinals have been sucking since the 1930’s. In an effort to prove it, they have written articles reviewing the history of the matchups with all the teams they play this year. Here is part I of the Redskins article (parts 2 and 3 are easily clicked on from there).
For a Redskins fan, it can sometimes be annoying to read because they often skip over the “good parts” to mention the one time in a million that the Cards would win one. But in the end, it is just fun to read lines like, “the Redskins won over two-thirds of the games, including 31 of 40 from 1970-89.”
I recommend it if you are looking to take a walk down memory lane.
I also highly recommend that after you are done you stroll over to my sister blog, Raising Zona, and make fun of them over there.
